It can be made from any type of light to medium-weight knit fabric with up to 5% elastane (one or two-way stretch).

Sizing: the Cosy dress pattern comes in a wide range of children’s sizes:
US 18 months to 14 years/ EU 86 – 164

Measurements:
To pick the right size, refer to the size chart in the pictures. Measurements and instructions are given in both inches and cm.
For size reference, the dresses shown are made in sizes US 5 / EU 110 and US 14 / EU 164.
The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.

How to measure?
✂Chest – measure at the widest part of the chest, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.
✂Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the smallest part, above the belly button.
✂Hips- Measure the circumference of the hips at the widest part.
If the chest, waist, and hips measurements vary between sizes, use the chest measurement to determine the size.

FULL PRINTING, CUTTING, AND SEWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PATTERN.

Fabric requirements:
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make. It also depends on the option you choose
to make: sleeveless, short sleeves, or long sleeves.

The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm wide. It is also given for the most fabric-consuming option: long sleeves, the long skirt option, and pockets.
Please, consider that natural fabrics like cotton shrink, so measure after pre-wash.

✂For sizes 18 months – 3 years: 1.5 yards (120 cm) of fabric.
✂For sizes 4 – 7 years: 1.6 yards (140 cm) of fabric.
✂For sizes 8 – 9 years: 1.8 yards (160 cm) of fabric.
✂For sizes 10 – 11 years: 2 yards (170 cm) of fabric.
✂For sizes 12 – 14 years: 2.5 yards (210 cm) of fabric.

Other materials:
1 yard/ 1 meter of 3/8” or 1 cm wide knitted elastic to reinforce the waist gathering (optional).

Printing:
After purchasing, you’ll be able to download two files: a print-at-home version of the pattern in A4 /letter size and a print shop version in A0 size.
The A4/US Letter Size version has 40 tiles, and the A0 file has 2 pages.
Instructions on how to print and assemble are included in the pattern.

There is a layered PDF feature of the pattern. This allows you to print only the sizes you are going to need.

Cutting and sewing:
✂The pattern has a 1 cm/ ⅜ ’’ seam allowance and 2 cm/ ¾’’ hem allowance included in all sizes.
