A sewing pattern for slim-fit knit pants/leggings with fun decorative elements.
Make a pair of these for either active time and sports, loungewear, or a casual outfit.
It can be made from knitted fabric with moderate stretch like French terry, Ponte de Roma, and medium/heavyweight jegging denim knit.

Motto leggings features:

As a mother of 2, I know how fast children grow. That’s why I make my patterns in a wide range of sizes so that you can enjoy your favorite patterns longer and “grow” your makes together with your kids.
Measurements:
To pick the right size, refer to the size chart in the pictures. Measurements and instructions are given in both inches and cm.
For size reference, the Moto Leggings are shown in size US 5 / EU 110, EU 122/ US 7, and EU 164/ US 14.
The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.
How to measure?
✂Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the smallest part, above the belly button.
✂Hips- Measure the circumference of the hips at the widest part.
FULL PRINTING, CUTTING, AND SEWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PATTERN.
Fabric requirements:
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make.
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm wide.
✂ For sizes 2 – 3 years: 28 inches (70 cm) of fabric.
✂ For sizes 4 – 5 years: 32 inches (80 cm) of fabric.
✂ For sizes 6 – 8 years: 36 inches (90 cm) of fabric.
✂ For sizes 9 – 10 years: 40 inches (100 cm) of fabric.
✂ For sizes 11 – 12 years: 45 inches (110 cm) of fabric.
✂ For sizes 13 – 14 years: 48 inches (120 cm) of fabric.
Other materials:
✂use up to one yard / 1 meter of 1 ¼’’ (3 cm) wide elastic for the waist.
Printing:
After purchasing, you’ll be able to download two files: a print-at-home version of the pattern in A4 /letter size and a print shop version in A0 size.
The A4/US Letter Size version has 16 tiles, and the A0 file has 1 page.
Instructions on how to print and assemble are included in the pattern.
There is a layered PDF feature of the pattern. This allows you to print only the sizes you are going to need.
Cutting and sewing:
✂The pattern has a 1 cm/ ⅜ ’’ seam allowance and a 2 cm/ ¾’’ hem allowance included in all sizes.
✂Full, step-by-step cutting and sewing instructions are included.
