Description
This is a carefully tested digital onesie pattern in children’s sizes.
Materials:
Fabric: Use medium-weight knitted fabric with little to no stretch like fleece, cotton, French terry, sweatshirt fleece, Ponte de Roma, Jersey, etc.
The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make. There is a reference chart later in
the description.
Other materials:
• nylon coil zipper:
– for size 3 years – 18 inches (45 cm);
– for sizes 4 – 6 years – 20 inches (50 cm);
– for sizes 7 – 10 years – 22 inches (55 cm);
– for sizes 11 – 14 years – 24 inches (60 cm).
Fabric consumption:
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 57 inches/145 cm wide and you make the most fabric-consuming option: with paws and a lined hood. Hood and binding, as well as leg cuffs and paws, are used interchangeably.
For sizes 3 – 6: A total of 2 yards (170 cm) of fabric or 1.5 yards (130 cm) of main fabric and 0.5 yards (40 cm) of contrasting fabric for paw bottoms, inner years, and hood lining.
For sizes 7 – 10: A total of 3.5 yards (3 m) of fabric or 3 yards (260 cm) of main fabric and 0.5 yards (40 cm) of contrasting fabric for paw bottoms, inner years, and hood lining.
For sizes 11-14: A total of 4 yards (360 cm) of fabric or 3.5 yards (320 cm) of main fabric and 0.5 yards (40 cm) of contrasting fabric for paw bottoms, inner years, and hood lining.
Size: US 3 – 14 years, EU 98 – 164 (see the size chart in images for detailed measurements).
