A sewing pattern for the perfect tunic for long days of work and play in 3 versions: high/low hemline, flared, and ruffle hemline.
Short and long sleeve options included.
Make one of these for either active time and sports, loungewear, or a casual outfit.
It can be made from light to medium-weight knitted fabric with little to moderate stretch like jersey, cotton, poly-cotton blend, etc.

You can see an example of a cozy tunic made:
✂ in 95/5 % rayon/elastane and a high/low hemline in size EU 110/US 5 and size EU 164 / 14 years;
✂ in 100 % and ruffle hemline in size EU 116/ US 6;
✂ in 95/5 % cotton/elastane Jersey and flared option in size EU 122/ US 7.

As a mother of 2, I know how fast children grow. That’s why I make my patterns in a wide range of sizes so that you can enjoy your favorite patterns longer and “grow” your makes together with your kids.
Measurements:
To pick the right size, refer to the size chart in the pictures. Measurements and instructions are given in both inches and cm.
For size reference, the Cozy tunic is shown in size US 5 / EU 110, EU 116/ US 6, EU 122/ US 7, and EU 164/ US 14.
The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.
How to measure?
✂Chest – measure at the widest part of the chest, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled
✂Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the smallest part, above the belly button.
✂Hips – measure at the widest part of the hips, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.
FULL PRINTING, CUTTING, AND SEWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PATTERN.
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make.
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm
wide.
Please, consider that natural fabrics like cotton shrink, so measure after pre-wash.
✂ For sizes 12 months – 4 years: 25 inches (60 cm).
✂ For sizes 5 – 8 years: 28 inches (70 cm).
✂ For sizes 9 – 10 years: 52 inches (130 cm).
✂ For sizes 11 – 13 years: 56 inches (140 cm).
✂ For sizes 14 years: 59 inches (150 cm).
**For Version C, use additional 8 inches (20 cm) of contrasting fabric for the ruffle and binding.**
Printing:
After purchasing, you’ll be able to download two files: a print-at-home version of the pattern in A4 /letter size and a print shop version in A0 size.
The A4/US Letter Size version has 30 tiles, and the A0 file has 2 pages.
Instructions on how to print and assemble are included in the pattern.
There is a layered PDF feature of the pattern. This allows you to print only the sizes you are going to need.
Cutting and sewing:
✂The pattern has a 1 cm/ ⅜ ’’ seam allowance and a 2 cm/ 3/4’’ hem allowance included in all sizes.
✂Full, step-by-step cutting and sewing instructions are included.
