A sewing pattern for the universal T-shirt with a regular fit. Suitable for boys and girls, short and long sleeve options included.
It can be made from any type of light to medium-weight knitted fabric with little to moderate stretch like jersey,
cotton, interlock, poly-cotton blend, etc.

Little Cozy T-shirt features:

✂3/8″ (1 cm) seam allowance and 3/4″ (2 cm) hem allowance included;

✂a step-by-step printing, cutting, and sewing tutorial.
You can see examples of short-sleeved T-shirts made in 95/5 % viscose/elastane Jersey in sizes EU 110/US 5 and EU 164/ US 14. /the long-sleeved examples are made in 100 % cotton jersey knit in sizes EU 110/US 5 and EU 164/ US 14.
Difficulty level: confident beginner, sewing with knits.

As a mother of 2, I know how fast children grow. That’s why I make my patterns in a wide range of sizes so that you can enjoy your favorite patterns longer and “grow” your makes together with your kids.
Measurements:
To pick the right size, refer to the size chart in the pictures. Measurements and instructions are given in both inches and cm.
For size reference, the T-shirt shown is in size US 5 / EU 110 and EU 164/ US 14.
The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.
How to measure?
✂Chest – measure at the widest part of the chest, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.
✂Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the smallest part, above the belly button.
✂Hips – measure at the widest part of the hips, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.
FULL PRINTING, CUTTING, AND SEWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PATTERN.
Fabric requirements:
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make.
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm wide.
✂For sizes 18 months – 8 years: 25 inches (60 cm) of fabric.
✂For sizes 9 – 14 years, short sleeve: 40 inches (100 cm) of material.
✂For sizes 9 – 14 years, long sleeve: 56 inches (140 cm) of fabric.

Printing:
After purchasing, you’ll be able to download two files: a print-at-home version of the pattern in A4 /letter size and a print shop version in A0 size.
The A4/US Letter Size version has 24 tiles, and the A0 file has 2 pages.
Instructions on how to print and assemble are included in the pattern.
There is a layered PDF feature of the pattern. This allows you to print only the sizes you are going to need.
Cutting and sewing:
✂The pattern has a 1 cm/ ⅜” seam allowance and a 2 cm/ ¾” hem allowance included in all sizes.
✂Full, step-by-step cutting and sewing instructions are included.
