Description
This is a carefully tested digital children sweatshirt pattern.
Materials:
Fabric: Use medium weight knitted fabric with little to no stretch like fleece, cotton, French terry, sweatshirt fleece, Ponte de Roma, Jersey, etc.
The size chart is for body measurements, not a finished garment measurements.
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make. There is a reference chart later in
the description.

For option A (with a front zipper):
• nylon coil zipper:
– for size 18m – 12 inches/30 cm; – for size 8 – 17 inches/42 cm;
– for size 2 – 12 inches/30 cm; – for size 9 – 18 inches/46 cm;
– for size 3 – 13 inches/32 cm; – for size 10 – 19 inches/48 cm;
– for size 4 – 13 inches/34cm; – for size 11 – 20 inches/50 cm;
– for size 5 – 14 inches/36 cm; – for size 12 – 21 inches/52 cm;
– for size 6 – 15 inches/38 cm; – for size 13 – 22 inches/56 cm;
– for size 7 – 16 inches/40 cm; – for size 14 – 23 inches/58 cm.
For option B (with buttons):
• buttons:
– for size 18 m – 2 years – 4 buttons;
– for sizes 6 – 10 years – 6 buttons;
– for sizes 6 – 10 years – 6 buttons;
– for sizes 11 – 14 years – 7 buttons.
Fabric consumption:
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make. It also depends on the option you choose
to make: hooded or binding if you use contrasting fabric for some details or not.
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 57 inches/145 cm wide and you make the most fabric consuming option: with a lined hood. Hood and binding are used interchangeably.
For sizes 3 – 6: 1.7 yards (150 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 7 – 10: 2.2 yards (200 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 11-14: 2.5 yards (220 cm) of fabric.
Size: US 18 months – 14 years, EU 86 – 164 (see the size chart in images for detailed measurements).
This size chart is for body measurements, not for ready garment measurements. Мake sure to follow the fabric recommendations and choose a size according to your body measurements.
Tools:
•Regular sewing machine.
•Scissors for fabric and for paper.
•Pins.
Optional:
• serger. You can choose to join the details with a serger or clean the edges of the fabric details for a more professional look.
Printing:
This pattern is designed to print on A4 or US Letter (8.5” x 11”) size paper.
A large format print shop version of the pattern is provided in a separate file. The pattern has layered sizes that allow you to print only the sizes that you want.
