Children’s dolman sleeve shrug pattern. This shrug will warmly hug your girl, complimenting any outfit.

You can put it over any dress, t-shirt or top.

This pattern is designed for knitted fabric. It can be made from any light to medium-weight knitted fabric and jersey knits like cotton or rayon, Ponte de Roma, etc.

A beginner friendly, quick sew that you can squeeze in in less than an hour.

Shrug features:

Sizing: the Little shrug pattern comes in a wide range of children’s sizes:
US 12 months to 14 years/ EU 86 – 164

Measurements:

To pick the right size, refer to the size chart in the pictures. Measurements and instructions are given in both inches and cm.
For size reference, the shrug shown is in size US 5 / EU 110 and US 14 / EU 164.

The size chart is for body measurements, not finished garment measurements.

How to measure?
✂Chest – measure the widest part of the chest, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.
✂Waist- Measure the circumference of the waist at the smallest part, above the belly button.

If the measurements of the chest, waist, and hips vary between sizes, use the chest measurement to determine the size.

FULL PRINTING, CUTTING, AND SEWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PATTERN.

Fabric requirements:

Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make.
The amounts given below can be used as a reference to approximate fabric consumption if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm
wide.
Please, consider that natural fabrics like cotton shrink, so measure after pre-wash.

For sizes 12 months – 2 years: 20 inches (50 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 5 – 6 years: 25 inches (60 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 7 – 8 years: 36 inches (90 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 9 – 10 years: 40 inches (100 cm) of fabric.
For sizes 11 – 14 years: 48 inches (120 cm) of fabric.

Other materials: no other materials are needed.

Printing:
After purchase, you can download two files: a print-at-home version of the pattern in A4 /letter size and a print shop version in A0 size.
The A4/US Letter Size version has 16 tiles, and the A0 file has 1 page.

Instructions on how to print and assemble are included in the pattern.

There is a layered PDF feature of the pattern. This allows you to print only the sizes you are going to need.

Cutting and sewing:
✂The pattern has a 1 cm/ ⅜ ’’ seam allowance and a 2 cm/ ¾’’ hem allowance included in all sizes.
✂Full, step-by-step cutting and sewing instructions are included.
