This is a printable PDF sewing pattern for a Shrug in youth sizes. I make a lot of those for my girls for the spring/autumn season so that they can wear sleeveless tops throughout the warm days and put something on in the chilly mornings and evenings.

I find this pattern to be easy to match with any outfit, so you can make a couple if you’d like.

How to measure?
✂Chest – measure at the widest part of the chest, holding the measuring tape horizontally leveled.

If the measurements of chest, waist, and hips vary between sizes, use the chest measurement to determine the size.

Fabric requirements:
Fabric consumption depends on the width of the fabric and the size you are going to make. It also depends on the option you choose
to make: short sleeves or long sleeves, pleated or plain fabric.
You are going to need up to 1 yard/1 meter of fabric for this project if the fabric is at least 59 inches/150 cm wide.

I'm not sure yet. I have a gorgeous piece of soft fury type fabric that is in layers perfect for a little girl just don't know if it's good for a shrug. This is what I want to make with the fabric and that's what I am going to do. If it turns out well I'll send a photo. BTW thanks so much for the pattern it is perfect!
