HealthyWage Review 2023 – Win money to lose weight

If you are looking for a way to lose weight and earn a little cash along the way, read on to see how HealthyWage helped me lose 25 kgs (or over 55 pounds) in 6 months and win a bit over $1200.

What is HealthyWage?

HealthyWage is a website and mobile app that allows users to make a financial bet on themselves to lose weight.

Users can bet on how much weight they will lose over a certain period. If they meet their goal, they win the money they bet, as well as additional prize money. The company uses scientific methods to determine the odds of winning their bet. It provides financial incentives to help motivate people to achieve their weight loss goals.

Once the bet is made, you begin your weight loss journey. HealthyWage provides resources and support to help you achieve your goals, such as personalized weight loss plans, workout videos, and a community of people who are also trying to lose weight.

Win money by losing weight with HealthyWage

Is HealthyWage legit? – My personal experience

HealthyWage is legit, and I won a $1090 prize for losing 25 kgs in 6 months. I also earned some smaller amounts by participating in Jackpot challenges at the same time.

There were no other conditions and requirements except losing what I said I would lose in the time I set. The money was transferred to my PayPal account right after my final weight was approved.

The amount of money you can win by joining the so-called HealthyWager varies on your bet, the time frame, and the amount of weight you want to lose. The top prizes go up to $10 000.

You can calculate your HealthyWage offer with no obligation to get a quote.

How I came across HealthyWage

I used to be very active, working with many people and dealing with challenging situations at work. Staying at home with the kids, followed by the Kovid lockdown and other big changes in my life got me landing in the obese category.

This transition took its take on my mental health and emotional state. I couldn’t find any motivation to sew something for myself or take care of the way I looked or felt.

What took me out of my lethargic state was a pic my kid took of me. I was showing how far I’d let myself go. I was sad, disappointed, and frustrated. Something had to change!

This got me searching online for ways to motivate myself to lose weight. I came across HealthyWage. Betting some money on myself to lose weight sounded good.

But, our financial state was not as great either. I was hesitant to bet money I knew I could lose. On the other hand, losing money seemed to be the only thing that could motivate me enough to start this weight loss journey.

Is HealthyWage a scam?

As much as I am concerned, the answer is: No, HealthyWage is not a scam. There were no hidden conditions. I bet what I wanted, lost weight, and got paid.

I had my doubts at the beginning but took the plunge anyway. I was so doubtful that I didn’t tell my husband I was signing up for this. My concerns were not as much related to HealthyWage being a scam. I doubted myself and my ability to keep myself on the right track.

From today’s perspective, I can honestly say it was worth it as I got my earnings right as it was advertised. And more importantly, if I weren’t participating in the HealthyWager, I would not have lost the weight.

That said, I strongly suggest you read the rules, terms, and conditions before you bet. This way there won’t be surprises along the way.

How much money can I make with HealthyWage?

You can earn up to $10 000 with a HealthyWager (playing by yourself) and also some smaller amounts if you join a bunch of Jackpot challenges along the way.

You can also earn additional money by referring friends and family and using your unique referral link to sign up for the game. HealthyWage pays you $40 for each person that signs for the HealthyWager.

Can I lose money with HealthyWage?

Of course, you can lose money with HealthyWage. Many people do and this is how their business operates. The good thing is, unlike other gambling activities, you are totally in charge of the outcome.

What are the HealthyWage cons?

There are some cons to HealthyWage as I experienced it.

1. Aiming for a specific number on the scale can be stressful.

The final 2 weeks were very challenging for me. On the other hand, this came as a result of me slacking in the beginning and leaving the real work for the end. The big goal I set for myself was supposed to be challenging. If I wasn’t participating in this HealthyWager, I wouldn’t have lost 25 kgs in 6 months. And that’s a fact.

2. There are no refunds.

Once you sign up, there is no way to get a refund. That said if you get pregnant or ill along the way, it is a different story. You can also buy additional time to reach your goal.

3. No one will hold your hand during the process.

It’s up to you to lose what you said you are going to lose. YOU are the one who has to do the job.

Sure, there will be positive enhancements here and there like showing a “Congrats!” Messages when you enter a lower weight. You are going to get different instruments to track and measure results and access fellow “losers” for support and encouragement.

Yet, no one is going to lose that weight but you. Many people lose their bets and if you don’t do the job, you might be one of them.

4. A big chunk of the prize money is your own bet money.

Still, taking part motivated me in two ways; on one hand – not to lose my money and to win some extra for the effort on the other. You can earn some nice side money with HealthyWage.

How long does it take to get money from HealthyWage?

It depends on what kind of game you are in. Some of the Jackpot challenges last for a month, and some for 3 months. The HealthyWager goes for at least 6 months and you are going to know before you start as you set up the time frame for yourself when you are making the bet.

Once you win a game, there are 2 options to get paid – with a check or by Paypal. As I am not resident in the U.S., my preferred option was Paypal and the transfer of money was in a matter of a couple of hours.

What sucked, though was the high fees that Paypal collects to get the money transferred.

How often do you weigh in on HealthyWage?

If something else is not specified, there are only 2 mandatory weight ins and those are at the beginning and the end of a game.

Throughout the game, you can enter your weight changes as much as you want to for motivation and accountability, but those are voluntary and not verified.

HealthyWage Cheating

I don’t advise you to go on that path. There are strict rules and a revision process that pretty much makes it impossible to cheat. If there is anything suspicious in your activity in the game or across games, you will be asked for additional proof that you reached the goal.

Final thoughts on my HealthyWage review

I decided to take a bet with HealthyWage and lose 25 kg (55 pounds) within six months. I lost weight, completed my verifications without hassle, won the bet, and received my winnings.

It wasn’t that easy as the goal I set for myself was very ambitious. Such an achievement was supposed to be hard and the cons I listed above could be seen as advantages as they pushed me in the right direction.

The fact that HealthyWage motivated me to finally lose over 55 pounds was worth more to me than the cash winnings.

I, therefore, recommend it to my family and friends as a way to take a step towards a healthier, happier life.
